What you will be doing
As Product Manager - Airfreight, you will create, develop, and implement global product strategies, driving revenue growth, enhancing cost efficiencies, and optimizing customer satisfaction.
Together with our global and regional airfreight teams you will oversee product lifecycles from concept to launch and ensure consistent implementation of innovative airfreight solutions tailored to diverse market segments.

You will be contributing to that vision by…
- developing and implementing strategies and products to drive revenue & customer growth, cost of sales improvements, and efficiency enhancements for the global airfreight, within the agreed-upon timeline, financial budget, and objectives.
- collaborating and coordinating with the global airfreight leadership team and regional teams to ensure consistent and aligned execution of created strategies and products across all markets.
- engaging with key stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for continuous product improvement.
- leading the development and execution of innovative airfreight products across operations, sales, and IT, tailored to different market segments and contributing to the achievement of global airfreight targets including concepts and business cases.
- analyzing the existing product portfolio to identify opportunities for product enhancements, optimization strategies, and new market developments.
- establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product strategies and initiatives, enabling efficient tracking and reporting on product performance to derive actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- conducting comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies in the global airfreight industry.
- promoting knowledge sharing and best practices across global teams to enhance product excellence.
What skills & experience you will bring to us
- Have airfreight experience in operations, sales, or tender management
- Have the ability to manage large-scale projects in a structured manner and coordinate with international teams

What are some key figures for the role
- The ideal starting date is: as soon as possible
- You will receive a permanent full-time contract with a 40 hour workweek
- You will join us in our headquarters in Hilden, Germany. Hybrid working is possible by arrangement on a situational basis
- You will have 30 vacation days per year
