Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30AM to 5PM, Hybrid role


YOUR ROLE


Our Central Team is looking for Business Process Engineer Expert to support various site in assessing and analysing customer contracts and operational tasks through well-defined methodical approaches.

For this role you will ideally be based in Frankfurt, Berlin or Hamburg.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?


You will report to the Business Process Excellence Manager and act as a contact person for the responsible area managers with regard to the analysis, planning and optimization of logistics processes, in particular by:


  • Analysis of defined locations with regard to the exploitation of economic potential in cooperation with the site management and the operational team.
  • Analysis of billing modalities, cost structure, material flow and production outputs as well as derivation of opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigation of logistics processes for inefficiencies in cooperation with the local process engineer.
  • Comparison of actual logistical structural data with the contractual agreements.
  • Analysis of the operational implementation of contractual agreements.
  • Development of proposals (operational, commercial, organizational) to improve the profitability of the site.
  • Coordination of proposed measures with the site management. Support in the adoption of the action plan.
  • Close cooperation with cross-divisional and international departments in the development and implementation of improvement measures.
  • Supporting the establishment of a BPE community within CEVA Germany to ensure an active exchange of best practices, Intensive exchange with other locations.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


  • Degree in technology/economics/logistics or comparable training.
  • At least 3 – 5 years of professional experience in the logistics industry, preferably in contract logistics.
  • Experience in LEAN management and project coordination.
  • Experience in process planning and optimization (LEAN).
  • Fluent in German and very good written and spoken English skills.
