Sales Specialist

We are excited to announce our partnership with a renowned global shipping and forwarding company known for their exceptional services. They are in the process of expanding their team and are currently seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join their operations in Hamburg.


In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with spearheading sales efforts aimed at expanding our client's customer base. Your primary responsibilities will include generating new business opportunities and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across all lines of business.


Key Responsibilities:


- Foster revenue growth and strengthen relationships within the existing customer base.

- Proactively generate leads through methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.

- Leverage your inside sales expertise to drive success.

- Provide formal and spot bid quotations.

- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by staying closely connected with all customers, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.

- Effectively communicate with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service disruptions.

- Report customer issues to management for timely resolution.

- Exceed established standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals, and closures.

- Document and report your sales activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

- Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to optimize sales and profitability, ensuring the achievement of or surpassing sales targets.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree or higher.

- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the shipping, logistics, and/or transportation industry.

- Flexibility to travel a minimum of 3 days per week for customer visits throughout Germany.

- Exceptional communication and time management skills.

- Strong organizational abilities with a customer-centric approach and problem-solving skills.

- Professional demeanor and conduct.

- Residing in Hamburg.
