Role OverviewAs a Technical Sales Advisor you will play a critical role in driving business growth by combining your technical knowledge and sales expertise. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow relationships with existing clients identify new business opportunities and provide tailored technical solutions that meet customer needs. You will act as the main point of contact for our Germanspeaking customers ensuring that they receive exceptional service and technical advice.
This is a hybrid role that requires a balance of technical proficiency sales acumen and interpersonal skills. You will work two days onsite in our Munich office to collaborate with internal teams and engage directly with clients and spend three days working remotely. This offers the flexibility to balance worklife needs while maintaining a strong presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for micro devices products in the German market.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with key clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical advice and product recommendations to clients based on their specific needs and challenges positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities expanding the companys presence and client base in Germany.
- Product Presentations & Demos: Conduct technical presentations product demonstrations and consultations to showcase the value of our solutions to prospective clients.
- CrossDepartment Collaboration: Work closely with engineering marketing and product teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into the development of new products and solutions.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends market dynamics and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and customer engagements.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly report on sales activities customer engagements pipeline development and revenue forecasting to the management team.
- Fluent in German & English: Must be proficient in both German and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with local clients and international teams.
- 5 Years of Technical Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in technical sales ideally within the micro devices or related hightech industry. Strong knowledge of microelectronics sensors semiconductors or similar technologies is a plus.
- Technical Background: A solid understanding of technical concepts especially in the micro devices or electronics field is essential. A degree in Engineering Electronics or a related field is highly desirable.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to closing deals including contract negotiations and customer onboarding.
- CustomerFocused: Excellent relationshipbuilding skills with a customercentric approach ensuring high satisfaction levels and longterm business partnerships.
- SelfStarter: Ability to work independently manage your time effectively and maintain a strong sense of ownership over your sales territory and targets.
