The Vattenfall GmbH is currently looking for a

Working Student - Procurement Indirect

for our office in Hamburg or Berlin.

As the company's ambitions for growth in renewable energy increases, the demand for procurement expertise grows. As part of its transformation Vattenfall is focused on close stakeholder management, digitalization, state of the art tools and adopting more agile ways of working also in Procurement Indirect. We in Procurement Indirect focus on categories such as IT, Facility Management, Professional Services, Consulting, Contingent Workforce and Temporary Labor, Travel, Outsourcing and much more.

To accelarate our digitalization journey we are looking for the right person to support our Procurement Indirect team. With us you will gain initial experience for your professional future. In addition, you will have the opportunity to get to know an international company up close and gain exciting insights into the work of Procurement.

Your tasks

  • Support in monthly reporting
  • Support in improving performance management and reporting in PowerBI (Visualizing data and analyses in dashboards)
  • Analyze the Sharepoint site and suggest improvements
  • Further developing and automating routines, procedures, and applications for analysis-related information and data flows
Qualifications
  • You are a student enrolled at a university in a quantitative subject like data science or engineering/business administration – with a remaining duration of studies of at least 1 year and a willingness to work primarily from our office (home office possible occasionally)
  • Strong commercial interest combined with analytical skills
  • You have initial experience with data visualization (PowerBI)
  • Good English language skills (both written and spoken)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with various internal stakeholders and the willingness to share knowledge
  • Result oriented, independent, and structured working method with high reliability and readiness to take on responsibility
  • Proactive team player with eagerness to learn
Additional Information


• Start of service: as soon as possible


• Working time: max. 20 hours/week (37 hours/week during the semester break)


• For an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension

The working student job is fairly remunerated.
