RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement database-based solution for long-term storage of simulation related data used/generated from polymer reaction modeling. The strategy so obtained will improve simulation data usability, longevity, and accessibility.

  • As part of your internship you will develop long-term data storage solution for simulation related input and output data from structured and unstructured sources (xml, csv and excel).
  • You will create an optimized database capable of adaptation for variable parameter properties.
  • Utilizing a backend framework for creating database access will be part of your tasks as well.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • ongoing studies in computer science, informatics or engineering
  • proficiency in non-relational (NoSQL) databases to build solutions for large scale systems
  • experience in MongoDB (preferred)/PostgresSQL/MariaDB
  • good command in Python with preferred experience in ORM such as SQLAlchemy as well as experience in backend framework (FastAPI)
  • good command on spoken and written English
