Your TasksAs part of the global NIVEA FACE R&D team you will collaborate with various functions to shape the future of our products. With your scientific knowledge, creativity, and communication skills you will shape the claim and active ingredient strategy of NIVEA Face.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build pipelines with a focus on active ingredients, skin benefits, and future claims to support the NIVEA Face team.
- Lead the development of science communication strategy for new product launches, life cycle management and relaunches.
- Educate Marketing & Sales on skin science, active ingredients, technologies, and products to ensure they have the knowledge they need to succeed.
- Contribute to skin science collaborations.
- Connect and stimulate innovation activities between Face Category and other R&D functions.
- Work in interdisciplinary teams with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Safety, Regulatory affairs, and Comm team to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Continuously acquire new knowledge, such as testing methods, formula properties, active ingredients, consumer trends, and new scientific insights, to stay ahead of the curve.
- You successfully completed a PhD in natural sciences and you have several years of professional experience as a research scientist in a relevant field (e.g. skin care, cosmetics) or similar.

You successfully completed a master's degree in natural sciences and you bring long years of professional experience in a relevant field (e.g. skin care, cosmetics) and thereof several years as a research scientist. - You are passionate about discovering strong scientific insights and transforming them in winning propositions to build the Nivea Face project pipeline.
- You thrive the exchange and the collaboration with diverse interfaces and you bring you ideas to life with a high level of implementation readiness.
- With excellent communication and presentation skills you represent Beiersdorf brands and science at lives and public events.
- Diplomatic skills and negotiation strength characterize you.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Your IT skills go beyond a comprehensive command of MS Office.
