How you spend your time
As a Data Protection Assistant, you will report directly to the Zühlke Group Data Protection Officer and be responsible for providing administrative support to the data protection team. You will help manage/update data protection directories, organize and participate in data protection training for employees and assist in monitoring the company's compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the data protection team, including helping to organize meetings and prepare reports.
  • Working with internal departments to ensure that all departments' processes are implemented in a data protection compliant manner.
  • Updating data protection directories
  • Compiling current case law and current developments in data protection law
  • Assisting with the monitoring and updating of data protection declarations, consent forms and other relevant documents
  • Assisting with the implementation of and compliance with data protection laws and internal data protection policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the conduct of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Supporting the development and implementation of internal audits to monitor data protection compliance at Zühlke.
  • Assisting in the processing of internal and external data protection requests (deletion requests, requests for information, etc.) from internal employees.
  • Assisting with the implementation of short data protection training courses for new employees (onboarding) throughout the Group.

  • Basic understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Personality of integrity, trustworthy
  • Meticulous approach to work and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing documents and records an advantage.
  • Knowledge of data protection software or tools an advantage.
