We are looking for an experienced and action-oriented Senior Capex Manager to join our German organization as soon as possible. For one of our sites – Düsseldorf, Pronsfeld or Upahl.

What you can expect at Arla

• Disciplinary and technical responsibility of the regional Central European (CE) team with direct reporting line to the VP Engineering & Technology
• Support SC VPs and Operations Business Partners in the evaluation of top-line project concepts and business cases by identifying and developing best industrial scenarios
• Define and drive alignment between key stakeholders for key project success criteria in terms of productivity, safety, quality, delivery and cost Responsible for the planning and execution of all strategic CAPEX projects >€2m and support as required other relevant CAPEX projects at the production sites within the European Supply Chain CE regions (two German sites, one Danish and one Dutch site)
• Support the development of technical standards and ways of working and their implementation and application across the organization
• Support the exploration/development phases of all new projects in the region's portfolio
• You will be part of the leadership team of Engineering & Technology where we together set the strategic direction for the department as well as leading and facilitating the people agenda such as Talent Management, employee engagement and diversity and inclusion etc.

What you bring with you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) combined with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Alternatively, at least 15 years' experience in a technical/project management role with a proven track record of delivering medium/large/complex technical projects
• Proven experience in leading project managers and mastering the management of complex and challenging CAPEX projects (budget, cash flow, schedule, resource and scope management / delegation) under adverse conditions / circumstances
• Strong understanding of CAPEX procurement practices and contract negotiations as well as a strong understanding of supply chain finance and business case building
• Fluency in German and English is a must
