Job Description

As a Supply Chain Operations & Customer Services Specialist (Logistics Specialist) you will be joining the Central North Europe Cluster (CNE) at Organon and you will be mainly supporting distribution and logistics activities for the cluster markets as needed as well as managing the customer services activities in UK/Ireland.

You will be reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

This is a remote role, preferably located in one of our Central Northern Europe markets.

Main Responsibilities

Supply Chain Operations:
Support for the oversight of 3PLs' (Third Party Logistics providers) operations (including but not limited to):

  • Daily monitoring of interfaces between SAP & 3PL
  • Daily oversight of 3PL activities: management and troubleshooting of the operations
  • Inventory maintenance in SAP, local 3PL and global KPIs management and reporting management
  • Resolution of complaints, temperature excursions, damaged goods, late deliveries for inbound and outbound shipments, management of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) when needed.
  • Maintenance of specific local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by undertaking periodic reviews to ensure compliance with company standards and supporting the evolution/updates of the SOPs.
  • Overseeing or supporting the yearly physical inventory count.
  • Periodic Transport Lane Risk Assessment including documentation, reporting and record keeping.

Customer Services:
Managing daily, weekly, monthly tasks (including but not limited to):

  • Customer Management and first point of contact for major customers
  • Customer Order Returns process
  • Emergency Orders
  • Claims, destructions and waste submission
  • Various Queries from Customers or 3rd party providers
  • Internal and External Reporting

Stakeholders Management:

  • Build strong and appropriate professional partnerships with local and regional departments like Quality, Order to Cash and Finance and peers in CNE cluster.

Compliance:

  • Provide support in case of any Audit and/or Inspection.
  • Ensure Compliance of the activities, including SOX or any other internal requirement.

Projects:

  • Continuous process optimization with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implementation of projects in cross-functional teams with internal and external stakeholders (Like process automation, simplification, process mapping).

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Engineer, Business or Supply Chain Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain and/or Customer Services preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • High flexibility to support the team in different areas
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain environment
  • Ability to create productive relationships with different stakeholders and customers
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Autonomous, pro-active, fast learner
  • Knowledge of IT tools, such as Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
