Serves as Telecommunication Specialist responsible for short- and long-range communications planning, programming, coordinating, and project implementation of a variety of telecommunications systems.

Performs troubleshooting through application of theory involving flow of satellite and baseband systems providing data, voice and video.

Provides technical direction to ensure timely restoration of optimal telecommunications services involving highly complex and technical issues, and personnel located in different functional areas and organizations at various echelons.

Performs maintenance, provides technical direction, and performs QA/QC involving highly complex and technical issues, and personnel located in different functional areas and organizations at various echelons.

Engineers site unique drawings for use in troubleshooting and operations.
Develops and checks feasibility of Local Restoral Plans and Emergency Action Procedures.

Provides site certification and developmental training on all systems, equipment, services, and procedures involving highly complex and technical training.

Instructs classes and effectively performs as an instructor/facilitator/mentor in a variety of learning settings.
