**Duties**:

- Serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist in the Network Enterprise Center (NEC).
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of all Unclassified/Classified/Coalition Network, Campus Area Network (CAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) infrastructure.
- Oversee implementation and modification of the NIPR/SIPR/Coalition/VoIP/VoSIP network architectures.
- Analyze networking equipment, software, copper and fiber optic cables reliability and utilization reports for large, complex equipment and software systems to identify and correct problem areas and to establish telecommunications performance levels.
- Perform team leader functions related to the assigned soldiers.
- Prepare testing and implementation plans
- Prepare system documentation for complex assignments in accordance with agency, major command, and local standards.

- Applicants must comply with the Exceptional Family Member Program requirements as outlined in the DoD Instruction 1315.19.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
- The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted.
- Incumbent (or Selectee) appointed to IA\IT positions must complete all DoD 8570.1-M,Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program training and certification (baseline and computing environment (CE)) requirements within 6 months.
- All individuals performing technical functions are required to sign a Privileged-Level Access Agreement (PAA) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain a valid US Army in Europe (USAREUR) Driver's License.
- In order to obtain a USAREUR driver's license you must be in possession of a valid state driver's license in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles AND pass a written exam.

- Basic Requirement for Information Technology Specialist (Network Services):
- The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
