About the team:
Passive Safety Systems is carving out from ZF's current portfolio to become an independent company. This will allow the Division to further grow and expand its market position in safety restraint technologies by involving external investors. Our footprint already includes ~45,000 employees in 20 countries in 44 locations and 2022 sales exceeded €4.5 billion. What you can look forward to as Specialist German GAAP Accounting (m/f/d):
- Coordination of the reporting of the German reporting units and consolidation of the annual financial statements of the legal companies in accordance with HGB
- Preparation of the HGB annual financial statements in coordination with the tax department
- Ensuring compliance with HGB accounting principles by applying the HGB accounting guidelines. Continuous further development of the HGB accounting guidelines
- Coordination of pension accounting in accordance with HGB, IFRS and tax law on the basis of actuarial reports in coordination with other departments
- Support in the development and review of budgets and forecasts
- Cooperation with other departments to ensure correct and timely accounting, including cooperation with the tax department to ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting and contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems
Your profile as Specialist German GAAP Accounting (m/f/d):
- Extensive experience in HGB accounting
- Knowledge of pension accounting in accordance with IFRS / HGB / taxes is an advantage
- High level of communication and social skills, independence, initiative, assertiveness and conceptual skills
- Very good German and English skills
