The roleFluke Product team is seeking a Program Manager to drive business growth executing new product development and sustaining efforts on time and on budget. Reporting to the Manager of the Program Management Office (PMO), the Program Manager will own process discipline, leading a cross-functional geographically dispersed team, documentation and tracking of all programs including tollgate process compliance, regular cadence of meetings and reviews, reporting, program metrics, counter measures, and overall performance. The role requires a person who is comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization, in managing conflict and tradeoffs and is an enabler for cross-functional clarity, communication and execution through followership and driving accountability.
Responsibilities:Accountable to program sponsors for driving scope definition, schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements; escalates decisions to program sponsors as necessary.Leads the program planning process, tools and schedule development.Reviews/approves program plans for conformance to program strategy and schedule.Acts as the communications conduit to sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates. Prepares program status, program risk analyses, and Voice of Customer (VOC) collection with a goal to drive issues to closure and assure achievement of program goals and KPIs.Directs and coordinates resources throughout respective company functions and conducts regular program reviews to make sure that program development and key performance indicators stay on track.Assures that the program achieves the cost, quality, performance, production rate, and yield metrics defined during the proposal stages.Leads program through all stages from idea to commercial execution.Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plansCollaborates cross-functionally to establish performance, schedule, cost and quality objectives for internal teams and external partners.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field desired preferred; PMI/PMP certification preferred.A minimum of 5+ years of experience developing system level products, which include hardware, firmware and software in a fully integrated system.Demonstrated experience in leading aggressive and results-driven brand management and product planning strategies utilizing VOC to identify growth opportunities for the company.Proven experience in developing long-range strategic goals with the ability to establish competitive strategy based on market intelligence, financials, and technology drivers.Demonstrated experience managing ISO-9000 compliant projects (or equivalent)Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment including leadership of geographically dispersed, cross-functional development teamsBasic understanding of hardware and software development processes, electronics manufacturing, and materials procurementAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentProven experience in risk management and change management
