As a Senior Operations Manager you are responsible for the strategic direction, coordination and evaluation of your area of responsibilities. - Lead a team of Shift Leads and Area Managers on shift to consistently achieve and exceed all shift Key Performance Indicators on time through effective coaching, collaboration and performance management.
- Own the operational performance within your designated shift. This includes ensuring smooth workflow, optimizing resource utilization to consistently meet production targets, and fostering close collaboration across all departments.
- Champion clear communication: Proactively keep stakeholders informed and facilitate collaboration across departments.
- Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.
- Continuously improve and optimize operational processes, actively identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Proven experience (5+years) in a manufacturing or distribution centre / operational environment.
- Strong experience with managing large scale operations with multiple management tiers.
- Demonstrates strong track record of team leadership with a large scale rapid and process driven environment.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, from peers to upper leadership.
- Relevant experience in performing advanced data analysis with tools like Excel / GSheets / Grafana / Tableau and using the data to influence business decisions.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments.
- A long-term mindset, committed to business impact.
- Fluent in German and English
- You are willing to work in 3-shifts operation, are highly motivated, flexible and a team player
