Utilizes complex substance use disorder treatment principles to conduct comprehensive evaluations of active-duty service members and their beneficiary/eligible dependents .
Develops evidence based treatment plans and provides evidence based care.Advises commanders, supervisors, and/or referring providers as to patient's status and treatment needs as appropriate.
Assesses primary/secondary problems to include behavioral health diagnosing and treatment planning.
Integrates information in clear/concise manner in order to formulate accurate diagnostic impressions consistent with established criteria to meet Joint Commission standards.
Develops therapeutic relationship with patients whose substance use and/or co-occurring behavioral health conditions occur within the context of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
