IT ELM HEP Product Owner

The Automotive group sector comprises technologies for passive safety, brake, chassis, motion, and motion control systems. Innovative solutions for assisted and automated driving, display and operating technologies, as well as audio and camera solutions for the vehicle interior, are also part of the portfolio, as is intelligent information and communication technology for the mobility services of fleet operators and commercial vehicle manufacturers. Comprehensive activities relating to connectivity technologies, vehicle electronics and high-performance computers round off the range of products and services.

This position is responsible for ensuring the availability and continuity of the ELM HEP Solution. The ELM HEP environment is used for multi-party software development and Integration. The PO manages all stakeholders of the Agile Team and clarifies requirements until they are considered ready by the team. The PO manages and breaks down the complexity of the product developed by the Agile Team and drives the incremental deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, refine, and document product features
  • Prioritize the product backlog and ensure that it is visible, transparent, and clear to the development Team
  • Define story acceptance criteria and support decomposition of requirements and specifications
  • Seek exposure to relevant stakeholders to capture requirements to make data driven decisions
  • Drive development by collaborating with the team to derive the plan, delivery scope, estimations, iteration goals, and gaining a team commitment
  • Evaluate and control product quality to ensure continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components with the support from tech lead
  • Coordinate data protection compliance and cybersecurity of the application.
  • Ensure product performance of the solution using data analytics

Skills required:

  • Academic degree in information technology (Master) or comparable qualification
  • Long Term professional experience in information technology or comparable
  • Agile methods and tools
  • Software development experience using tools such as HEP/JAZZ, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins, Github, Grafana etc...
  • MS- Windows, Linux, Microsoft Office
  • Cloud based Service Architecture
  • Excellent English and Basic German written and spoken
  • Good communication skills, experience in writing documentation for different purposes (ex. Users, admins, etc.)
