Job Role: Head of Programmatic Display

Salary: Up to €100k

Location: Berlin – hybrid working

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Programmatic Display to join a marketing agency based in Berlin. Leveraging data insights, you'll develop and execute programmatic advertising campaigns tailored to each client's goals. This includes researching target audiences, crafting effective segmentation strategies, and building data-driven targeting plans. You'll also manage campaign budgets, negotiate rates, and optimise bids to maximize efficiency and return on investment (ROI). You'll be responsible for constantly monitoring campaign performance, analysing data, and generating insightful reports to identify areas for improvement. You will also be expected to stay updated on the latest programmatic advertising trends and best practices. Finally, collaborate closely with internal teams such as, account management, creative, and analytics to ensure seamless campaign execution from start to finish.

Skills you should hold (with over 7 years of experience required):
  • Proven experience using Google Marketing Platform (GMP) including Display & Video 360.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic concepts, including RTB (Real-Time Bidding), DSPs, SSPs (Supply-Side Platforms), and ad exchanges.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with campaign trafficking, reporting, and optimization tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
