Business Development Manager (Service Provider Manager) (m/f/d)

Location: Emsdetten, remote


Aufgaben

Drive demand generation / pull for the service business in EMEA by collaboration with camping apps, camping associations, rental companies and other demand drivers. Assess, and develop the CEMEA network of service providers to increase “quality, and loyalty- of these partners. Define with the local counterparts, which action items are needed to develop these partners, e.g. technical trainings, installation trainings, webinars, access to service IT tools, marketing activities etc.

  • Identify collaboration partners, e.g. camping apps, camping associations, opinion leaders and others.
  • Approach these companies, and review the vice versa benefits of a collaboration.
  • Start initiatives which help us increase awareness for Dometic, and mainly Dometic service offerings.
  • Define, and support initiatives together with marketing, e.g. integration to menu points, bannering, newsletters, ads, Social Media campaigns, eBooks etc.
  • Monitor, and review KPI to assess the reach, CTR, and effectiveness of the campaign.
  • Support development of the service marketing plan.
  • Market research in order to qualify leads.
  • Develop offerings for premium dealers, service providers, and other channel partners, e.g. service packages, pricing.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities.
  • Find new business opportunities through networking, researching the competition.
  • Talking to prospects and current customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on competition and new market trends to allow you to more effectively identify prospects. It also helps our business prepare for any shifts in the market that could lead to the need for a new approach to qualifying leads and attracting our target audience.
  • Geographic focus is on the key markets, but will be expanded to other relevant Dometic countries in EMEA, as we move on.
  • Role includes EMEA travel for meeting with these collaboration partners, where TEAMS sessions aren't appropriate, and visit events and fairs to meet potential candidates.
  • Further develop the service provider program at EMEA level with special focus on Germany.

Profil

A suitable background would be a solid experience within business development– as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Technical / commercial qualification, ideally with background in climate, Mobile Power Solutions.
  • Fluent in English, and German (written and verbal) at negotiation level. Every other European language knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good business development / sales background along with a good technical understanding of products & solutions- ideally in the tech outdoor market, could be automotive or other strong service-driven markets.
  • Able to negotiate terms & conditions for a partnership, implement new contracts.
  • Strong communicator – external, and internal.

  • Strong in presenting the value-add of Dometic to the collaboration partners, and premium dealers / service providers.
  • Strong business-driven approach along with a solid technical understanding.
  • Driving licence, and willingness to travel weekly as part of the role.
  • The right candidate shows a strong commitment to driving profitable growth, is creative in developing new service offerings, believes in strong partnerships, and has a strong service business background.
