Aufgaben
Your Tasks
- As part of our Digital Insights team, you will support the sales team and customers (pharma, biotech, academia) with applications for QIAGEN products which you will develop using SQL, Python, and R.
- You will provide scientific presentations and compelling software demonstrations.
- You will translate customer needs into customized software solutions and engage in technical discussions.
- You will build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including collaborating with the sales team.
- You will document, track, and manage projects from initiation to delivery.
- You will travel to customer sites up to 25% of the time.
Profil
Your Profile
- You bring a Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field, or a PhD in Biology/Biochemistry with substantial bioinformatics and data science experience.
- You have proficiency in SQL, Python, and R, and familiarity with public databases (GEO, SRA, TCGA) and enrichment tools (R packages, GSEA).
- You have knowledge of QIAGEN bioinformatics products (e.g., Ingenuity Pathway Analysis, OmicSoft) and experience managing bioinformatics projects successfully.
- You bring working experience at a Drug Discovery/Pharmaceutical company (preferred) and possess strong technical, presentation, and communication skills.
- You can convey complex computational concepts to non-experts and have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- You thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment and are willing to travel to customer sites as required.
