Overview


Permanent, full-time, hybrid (3 days per week in an office) #LI-Hybrid #LI-MH1StoneX is looking for a high performing SEO & Website Manager to manage the web channel demand for Germany, supporting the growth of this regional website through SEO.

This person will be part of the Global Websites team, working alongside our in-house Copywriters, Web Developers, Web product owners, Paid Media specialists and many more.

German language knowledge – full proficiency or native, English – business level (both languages are mandatory and knowledge will be validated during the interview process).

Responsibilities

Some of the immediate initiatives the person in this role will drive:
  • Create a list of SEO quality assurance items, to be incorporated into the publishing process
  • Create, manage and continuously update a SEO plan/roadmap for the website with the ultimate goal of achieving the best long
  • term ROI for organic growth
  • Innovate and help drive all SEO activity for our retail DE offering, with the purpose of improving core metrics and ROI
  • Work with the Marketing manager to implement new regional campaigns
  • Drive the optimization of the newly launched German website in line with global best practicesKey responsibilities:
  • Leading the daily maintenance of website content.
  • Point of contact for website live issues and releases.
  • Implement web pages, landing pages, content, imagery, video, forms and any other content in CMS.
  • Owning various marketing tasks that focus on a positive customer experience.
  • Website quality assurance – help test and review website content for errors.
  • Collaborate with Digital & Creative Marketing Team to execute the creative direction, planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the website.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are implemented on all pages.
  • Own each SEO task relevant for the website you are managing from inception to reporting of results.
  • Optimise all facets of SEO for your region(s) to drive maximum organic growth.
  • Provide SEO briefs to the content team with keyword/topics/internal linking opportunities.
  • Crawl the website to find Technical SEO issues like incorrect canonicals and use the CMS to amend these issues or raise Jira tickets for the development team.
  • Be a technical SEO evangelist by directing and managing all on-site audits and implementations to ensure SEO best practices are followed and adhered to (e.g. CWV, structured data, heading structure, etc.).
  • Proactively keep on top of industry news, search engine updates and industry trends.
  • Share useful insights with the Report to senior stakeholders to highlight return on investment and progress achieved on KPIs.
  • Leverage, create and contribute to content strategies to maximise SEO growth.
  • Ensure content and technical SEO considerations are always taken into account.
  • Help internal teams to better understand search engines and help them drive organic growth.
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • German knowledge – full proficiency or native, English – business level (both languages are mandatory and knowledge will be validated during the interview process).
  • Previous experience in web management with consumer facing web sites.
  • Familiarity with web CMS (Content Management System), preferably corporate level (SiteCore, Adobe).
  • Previous SEO experience working on content and technical improvements.
  • International SEO experience - working on global domain(s) with multiple websites for different regions/languages that receive traffic from multiple search engines.
  • Experience / knowledge of CFD trading, spread betting or investing would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a regulated financial company would be an advantage.
  • Good experience working with industry tools: GA, ContentKing, Semrush, GSC, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Very good knowledge around ranking signals.
  • Good technical SEO knowledge.
  • Collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization to gather information and advise on web communication strategies.
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to sustain constructive debates and hold opinions.
  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills
