To further support its growth in Germany, Amplifon seeks talented individuals to join its IT team in Hamburg as an IT Operations Specialist.
Your tasks
- Manage the relationship with hardware and software providers
- Support the shop acquisition process from an IT perspective to ensure effective and proper service delivery, collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers
- Track timelines and provide project status reports
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with users to grasp their business requirements and guarantee the provision of top-notch services
- Act as the main contact person for users, addressing concerns, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities
- Develop and execute service delivery strategies in alignment with client expectations and company goals
- Take full ownership of allocated tickets, escalated issues, and employee support both within the Support Office deskside and remotely
- Escalate IT issues within the team and to suppliers when required, ensuring complete issue resolution
- Support users with both hardware and software applications
Your profile
- Successful completion of vocational training and/or university studies with a focus on IT
- Prior work experience in the IT field, ideally in a retail environment
- Knowledge/experience with Windows 8, 10, 11, iOS/Android, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 Administration, Active Directory Administration, and ServiceNow or similar ITSM systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop and peripheral issues
- Experience in managing SharePoint online pages and document libraries
- Desire to stay up-to-date with technological advancements
- Basic knowledge of creating scripts for software installations
- Exposure to Oracle and understanding of ITIL framework preferred
- Fluency in German and English
