We, the Stadtwerke München, are one of the largest regional employers with a mission to keep Munich running 24/7. Our vision is to make Munich a shining example of a connected, sustainable, and livable city. Renewable energies play a crucial role in the future energy supply and must be expanded rapidly and extensively. The awareness of their importance is growing in both politics and society. The Stadtwerke München (SWM) are leveraging this positive momentum to focus even more on the regional energy transition. To meet this significance, all activities to promote renewable energies in and around Munich are now consolidated in the 'Regional Energy Transition' department.
This concentrated combination of all potentials from energy planning and construction measures enables a more efficient progress towards a sustainable energy supply for the region. SWM is committed to utilizing the potentials in Munich and the region to successfully shape the energy and heat transitions. The consolidation of forces and expertise in a single department aims to enable a more targeted approach.
- Create strategic and technical concepts for efficient processes, organizational and digital potentials in the Regional Energy Transition department.
- Identify needs of different stakeholder groups and support in deriving sustainable strategies and goals.
- Orchestrate and moderate management meetings to strengthen the innovation capability of the department.
- Assist in defining performance indicators and creating transparency for achieving goals and milestones.
Your Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and higher management environments.
- Practical experience in developing municipal companies, transformation strategies, and processes.
- Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in analyzing and evaluating business processes and models, as well as implementing digitalization measures.
- Strong business acumen, expertise in digitalization, project management, and project control.
- Strategic planning skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, teamwork.
- Experience in stakeholder collaboration and engagement.
- Knowledge of renewable energies, sustainability, and technology trends.
