EV Home Charger Technician (internal)
Job Description:
As an EV Home Charger Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of electric vehicle (EV) Home Charger.
You will be part of a team that contributes to the growth of electric vehicle infrastructure and promotes sustainable transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Setup:
Configure charging stations for optimal performance, including software setup and network integration.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance on home chargers to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems with charging equipment, identifying both hardware and software issues.
- Replace faulty components and perform necessary repairs to restore charginger to operational status.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of chargers to ensure they meet safety and functionality standards.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and diagnostics performed.
- Create detailed reports outlining issues, solutions applied, and recommendations for further improvements.
Customer Interaction:
- Interact with customers (installers) to provide technical support, address inquiries, and explain charginger operations.
- Educate customers (installers) about basic troubleshooting steps and usage guidelines.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to electrical safety protocols and guidelines to prevent hazards during installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Stay updated with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Continuous Learning:
- Keep uptodate with advancements in EV charging technology, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training, associate's degree, or relevant certifications in electrical or electronics field preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Familiarity with electric vehicle charging technology and associated components.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Availability and willingness for occasional business trips within Europe
