Job Description
  • Throughout your Master thesis, you will examine existing research and the latest developments in lidar-based Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) using neural reconstruction.
  • Develop and incorporate an assessment process to measure the effectiveness of potential methods against specified criteria to pinpoint areas for enhancing SLAM accuracy.
  • Lastly, analyze, devise, and implement possible enhancements to refine a promising state-of-the-art SLAM technique based on selected criteria.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Proficiency in SLAM, mobile robotics, machine learning, software development with Python or C++, ROS, Ubuntu, Linux.
  • Personality and Work Approach: Independent, passionate, and inquisitive.
  • Languages: Proficiency in German or English.

Commencement: as per prior arrangement
Timeline: 6 months
