Our client is a leading provider of cloud-based shipping solutions, helping businesses in the logistics and e-commerce sectors streamline their transportation and shipping processes. Their scalable platform empowers companies of all sizes, from startups to established players, with complex freight forwarding requirements.

Your Mission

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Head of Marketing to be the 1st Marketing person on the ground, to lead their marketing strategy and drive sustainable growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that increases brand awareness, generates qualified leads through demand generation, and supports the sales and product teams.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy across all channels, including online marketing, SEO, SEA, content marketing, and social media.
  • Foster deep understanding of the SaaS, logistics, and e-commerce landscape to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).
  • Lead the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to generate new leads and nurture existing ones.
  • Oversee website optimization for lead generation and user experience.
  • Collaborate with sales and product management to develop integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance using key metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in B2B marketing and e-commerce.

Your Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the SaaS, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing channels, including SEO, SEA, content marketing, social media, and marketing automation.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Plenty Markets, Xentral, or WeClapp is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in the future, but no previous managment experience is needed.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in German and strong English language skills.
