Your role
The
Team Lead Accounting role will entail leading a team of accountants and overseeing all accounting related activities.

Your work will have a significant impact on the core of Lano's business, informing our controlling activities and allowing for data-driven decision-making.

You will work very closely with our Controlling department and the wider Finance Team. A significant opportunity of this role will also be participating in projects to further improve finance-related workflows at Lano.

Your responsibilities:

  • You
    lead and develop the accounting team at Lano, setting it up for continued company growth
  • You
    oversee all accountingrelated tasks and topics at Lano
  • You take ownership of the timely preparation of the monthly and
    annual statements according to
    German HGB:
  • You own the
    communication with tax accountants and auditors
  • You are the primary contact person for various departments on accountingrelated topics

What you need to succeed:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as
    Certified Accountant working with DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen:
  • You have previously been exposed to both
    financial and
    managerial accounting tasks
  • You have a thorough work
    ethic and a
    high attention to detail:
  • You are open-minded and like to work in an international team
  • You are solutionoriented and proactively take ownership of topics
  • You are a
    fluent German speaker and have very
    good proficiency in English:
  • You have experience
    leading a team

Nice to have:

  • You have previously worked in a product / tech company, ideally a startup
  • Cherry on the cake: You have experience with HRrelated business models
