About the Job:
HARMAN AutoOne is a product engineering platform that combines our automotive product portfolio into a seamless user experience.
We run a global concept car fleet and test system pool for end-to-end product development including full system integration and validation.
As Director HARMAN AutoOne, you will drive the design, implementation, and operation of our AutoOne product engineering platform.You will closely collaborate with our product lines, product management, E/E architecture, and marketing on the implementation of a mature, holistic, and compelling in-cabin user experience across cockpit, sound, mixed reality, connectivity, driver assistance, and cloud service solutions.
Having a key role in implementing our automotive product strategy, you will be an ambassador for cross-product collaboration and vehicle-level value proposition.
What You Will Do:
- Lead, manage, and grow a global multidisciplinary team for endtoend product system integration
- Implementation and operation of the AutoOne platform as a central element of the product engineering including design, delivery, and quality processes
- Continuous system integration of the automotive product portfolio as well as featurelevel and userlevel validation
- Holistic usercentric and marketoriented incabin experience design in close collaboration with our product lines
- E/E architecture design and productlevel integration concept including networking, power, and lifecycle management
- Vehicle platform and test system design and implementation including industrial and mechanical design, electrical integration, and vehicle fabrication
- Support customer demos and automotive road shows
What You Need:
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Strong capabilities in leading global highperforming design and engineering teams
- 8 years practical experience in automotive incabin electronics product engineering and system integration and excellent understanding of the respective processes
- Program and project management experience
What is Nice to have:
- Practical experience in automotive E/E architecture, system test, and validation
- Good understanding of user experience and user interface design, industrial design, mechanical design, and automotive electronics retrofitting
- Product management experience
What Makes You Eligible:
- Be willing to travel up to 20% of domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office or home office in Karlsbad or Garching, Germany
