We are looking for an
Guest Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing Berlin team.
What you will focus on:
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure all properties are fully equipped and ready for guest moveins.
- Serve as Blueground's operational frontline, ensuring new properties meet our standards and handling maintenance, repairs, and technology issues such as furniture assembly and WiFi troubleshooting.
- Conduct precheckin and postcheckout inspections using a mobile checklist to ensure each apartment adheres to both business and guest quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to expertly manage the complete apartment turnover process at Blueground properties. This involves coordinating with the building's maintenance staff, performing immediate repairs, swapping apartment equipment, restocking supplies, removing trash, evaluating linens, and providing basic housekeeping support to ensure the apartments are fully prepared in a single visit to welcome our guests.
- Oversee and ensure the high standards of cleanliness and presentation of apartments. Conduct regular cleaning evaluations and provide feedback to operations managers about the overall performance of the housekeeping teams.
- Maintain and drive Blueground's corporate vans, ensuring they are wellstocked and in pristine condition.
- Carry out Blueground home walkthroughs to ensure all quality assurance criteria are met, including interior/furnishing specifications and overall design and aesthetics
- Participate in ad hoc operational projects, such as managing key inventory, organizing local storage, and filming checkin videos.
- Gather and upload propertyrelated information onto Blueground's internal platform, to be utilized as instructions for guests.
- Demonstrate operational efficiency in the field by serving as the main point of contact between our Operations Leaders and the Customer Experience team.
- Balance operational workflows with independent onthego tasks and critical timesensitive needs
What we are looking for:
- Fluent in German & English
- Problem solver, with the ability to work in a fastpaced and "get the job done" culture
- Ability to perform basic handyman tasks and manage minor household repairs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for driving operational excellence and efficiency.
- Experience leading field or housekeeping teams will be considered a plus.
- Ability to change abruptly based on daily needs and changes to schedule
- A positive, driven, and friendly personality, ready to contribute to a teamoriented environment.
- Driving license class B
