The Human Resources Team

What You Will Do
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department and oversee our full-cycle recruiting.Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company's current and future hiring needs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Determine selection criteria
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements
- Lead employer branding initiatives
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

You will be part of a fresh team that is able to proactively shape the Hiring policies and procedures function in an established global organisation, challenging existing processes and expectations with new and innovative ideas. This will require an ability to demonstrate a start-up mentality within a corporate setting, and tie back programme effectiveness to defined goals.
The maritime industry is a niche market. It is critical for the Talent Acquisition Officer to be able to set-up appropriate and innovative recruitment strategies and build trusted relationships with current and/or future talents globally.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human resources management or equivalent.
- 2+ years of progressive human resources experience in full-cycle recruitment (in-house or recruitment agency).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to confidently express oneself.
- Knowledge of local job boards and social media channels is essential.
- Team player that can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across a large and global organisation.
- Personable and approachable individual that enjoys building relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
