Die Klinik für Allgemein-, Viszeral- und Kinderchirurgie der Universitätsmedizin Göttingen sucht einen wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiter / Doktoranden (m/w/d) für das Center for Digital Surgery. Das Forschungszentrum wurde gegründet, um die Lücke zwischen methodischer Forschung und klinischer Anwendung zu schließen. Die Forschungsgruppe unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Hagenah strebt danach, die Vision der "intelligenten Chirurgie" zu verwirklichen. Dabei werden multimodale Daten wie intraoperative und präoperative Bilder, Biosignale und elektronische Gesundheitsakten genutzt, um KI-gesteuerte und robotische chirurgische Assistenzsysteme zu entwickeln.
Ihre Aufgaben:- Durchführung von Forschung in der digitalen Chirurgie
- Gestaltung, Durchführung, Analyse, Interpretation und Diskussion von Experimenten
- Präsentation und Veröffentlichung Ihrer Forschung auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene
- Co-Betreuung von studentischen Forscher*innen
- Aktive Beteiligung an Lehrtätigkeiten
- Master-Abschluss in Biomedizintechnik, Data Science, Informatik, Robotik oder einem verwandten Studienfach
- Hohe intrinsische Motivation für Forschung und Innovation
- Fähigkeit, kontinuierlich in einem interdisziplinären Team zu lernen und zu wachsen
- Organisations- und Teamfähigkeiten, Flexibilität, Aufgeschlossenheit und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
- Sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse, vorzugsweise in maschinellem Lernen/Deep Learning mit Python
- Erfahrung in relevanten Bereichen wie medizinische Bildanalyse, Analyse klinischer Zeitreihen, Natural Language Processing oder Robotersteuerung
