Responsibilities:

  • Support the local regulatory reporting for Bank Chain Entities in Germany.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate local regulatory reporting for Bank Chain Entities in Germany.
  • Daily coordination with the service center in Budapest supporting local German regulatory group.
  • Ensure overall reporting efficiency, identify process improvements & drive reengineering initiatives.
  • Manage the delivery of all reporting requirements in a timely and accurate reporting for Bank Chain Entities.
  • Drive change process by ensuring further technical improvements and high quality deliveries from the service centers.
  • Support the daytoday management of Finance relationship with the German and other regulators.

  • Support the implementation of new regulatory rules and requirements as well as respective tailored reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the implementation of external and internal policies and procedures.
  • Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans.
  • Work with external and internal auditors for all regulatory related queries.
  • Interact with International teams on regulatory reporting to ensure knowledge transfer in all directions.

  • System knowledge of Abacus DaVinci/ Abacus 360 would be an advantage.
  • A proactive decision maker who has the ability to champion Finance initiatives to successful conclusion.
  • Able to influence and support senior management decision making
  • Work within a dynamic environment being able to anticipate and respond to new events.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to coordinate and manage across multiple deliverables.

Experience/ Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of German regulatory reporting requirements as well as applicable regulation i.e. CRR, CRR2 and Basel Accords.
  • Experience in dealing with the German external auditors
  • In depth knowledge of German regulatory reporting
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent technical skills (databases)
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Understanding of US and local accounting principles.
  • Practical experience with Finance processes.
  • A few years of experience in regulatory reporting (multinational experience would be an advantage)
Education

  • University degree or other equivalent financial background.
  • MBA or Professional Degree an advantage.
