Job DescriptionThis position would be a key leader in our Irish Practice, reporting to the Managing Director, Energy, Utilities & Environment. Sia Partners has a team of over 70 Dublin based consultants covering multiple industry sectors and government.
In the UK and Ireland, Sia Partners' Energy and Utilities Business Unit works with electricity, gas and water utilities, regulators, energy suppliers and infrastructure funds on a variety of projects. We support our clients in a variety of areas including:
- Economic regulation and business planning;
- Stakeholder and Customer engagement improvement strategies;
- Social and environmental value analysis + ESG strategy;
- Network management and improved system operation;
- Energy transition e.g. Biogas, EV planning, hydrogen, smart meters, renewable energy;
- Market analysis and due diligence support;
- Energy trading and risk management
Sia Partners has over 350 consultants focused on Energy, Utilities and Environment located in our Paris, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Brussels, Antwerp and Amsterdam offices. Each office works closely together to deliver an integrated solution for our clients.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for...
- Leading and supporting the delivery of projects, potentially working across several clients in Ireland and, if required, support overseas engagements;
- Supporting the development of content and pitches for practice-related opportunities and proposals;
- Actively contributing to the development of Sia Partners' assets; and IP including methodology, tools, templates, guidelines and lead initiatives to continuously improve and integrate them with other Sia Partners assets across the Practice;
- Assisting in marketing campaigns and overall external positioning of Sia Partners' your practice across social networks;
- Facilitating own learning by self-study and receive training from more Senior members of the organisation;
- Interacting with other industry teams within Sia Partners to share information.
- Building and maintaining your own external professional peer networks;
- Contributing to thought leadership, working on blogs and the development of Sia Partners 'assets' including methodology and tools;
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the utilities sector either electricity, gas or water or combination of the three.
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum 2:1) or international equivalent in a relevant subject, e.g.engineering, economics, science, business, technology.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges confronting the Irish utilities sector and ability to develop solutions.
- Experience with either economic regulation, social value assessments, customer service/engagement, asset management, operations or a combination of these skills
- Previous experience with management consulting is an advantage.
- Aptitude to develop relationships across the industry and undertake business development with support from the senior team.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills, with examples of utilising and visualising quantitative analysis to generate actionable insight.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- The ability to adapt rapidly, and work on a range of different business areas within a challenging environment and keeping to tight deadlines;
