Job Description

The Solution Sales Specialist holds the responsibility for driving the market success of ServiceNow's Employee Workflows product suite, encompassing Employee Experience, Enterprise Service Management, HR Service Delivery, Integrated Workplace Management, and Legal Service Delivery.

The Senior Solution Sales Executive will spearhead and enhance sales revenue, both within existing accounts and by acquiring new clients across Germany. This entails close collaboration with the broader ServiceNow sales network, backed by a dedicated Solution Consultant. The role involves strategizing territory and account plans, accurate forecasting, leveraging business development strategies, and engaging in field-based sales endeavors to optimize revenue generation opportunities and ensure efficient management and closure of sales deals.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for growth, seeking an enthusiastic individual with robust sales, communication, and organizational skills, ready to learn and contribute to the rapid advancements of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the customer and regional sales teams' advocate
  • Lead end-to-end sales campaigns, focusing on specific HR solutions use cases, from lead generation to deal closure
  • Collaborate with sales teams to expedite opportunities by engaging directly with customers, offering comprehensive insights on products and industries
  • Provide updates on competitive analysis and market trends to management to facilitate proactive decision-making
  • Contribute to developing key sales and go-to-market strategies with Product Management and Product Marketing to establish ServiceNow as a leader in HR Service Delivery
  • Offer industry expertise in crafting and executing market strategies and programs to enhance brand penetration
  • Coach and empower account teams with specialized knowledge for effective identification and management of sales opportunities
  • Deliver presentations on our Employee Workflows solutions to prospects, customers, and industry gatherings alongside the assigned Account Executive and Solution Consultant
  • Support regional ServiceNow partner channels to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Articulate successful customer strategies to streamline solution presentations and enhance value proposition
  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor to our customer community
Qualifications

Successful candidates typically possess:

  • An established track record of surpassing sales targets
  • A focus on new business acquisition
  • Prior sales experience in software or IT sales, particularly within IT, HCM, HR, HR Service Delivery, or IWMS domains, handling intricate deals with Enterprise Accounts
  • Previous exposure to SaaS or PaaS sales
  • Involvement in a complex sales ecosystem in a key role
  • Commercial acumen, adept at building business cases and emphasizing ROI in collaboration with clients
  • Proficiency in illustrating the value of solutions to prospects and customers to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships across all levels in customer organizations and internally within the company
  • Executive presence, strong influencing skills, and impeccable communication and presentation abilities, essential fluency in English and German

Work Personas

Work personas categorize employees based on their work nature. Employees are classified into three categories: Remote, Flexible, or Required in Office.

Required in Office

Employees falling under the Required in Office persona are obligated to work from a designated ServiceNow office or location associated with the company. They are required to be present at their workplace location throughout the work week to meet the demands of their role.

Flexible

Individuals categorized as Flexible employees are contracted to work from a ServiceNow office and are expected to operate from the designated workplace roughly 3 days or less per week (generally around 40-60% of the work week). They have the flexibility to choose between working from the office or their home for the remaining working hours. Flexible employees are mandated to work within their region, state, province, or country of employment.

Remote

Remote employees exclusively carry out their duties away from a ServiceNow office and are not linked to any ServiceNow-affiliated workplace, including those whose primary work location is their home, as per their employment terms. Remote staff are required to work within the boundaries of their region, state, province, or country of employment.
