We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a customer-centric mindset to join the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team in the role of Graduate Engineering Manager.
The Graduate Engineering Manager position serves as the entry-level role for aspiring leaders, providing recent Engineering graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and evolve into future leaders. This role and program are crafted to offer a blend of hands-on technical skills and managerial capabilities, enabling rapid integration into the site management team. The primary focus is on ensuring high equipment availability through effective preventive maintenance activities in alignment with internal protocols.
- Support the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager in collaborating with the Safety department and site Leadership to implement, document, and review safety and compliance programs, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel
- Enforce network standards and emphasize preventive maintenance to guarantee optimal equipment availability for internal stakeholders
- Leverage technical expertise within the team and across the network to develop innovative solutions
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of all on-site RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) roles
- Oversee projects or assignments as delegated by the site manager
- Flexibility to work shifts to maintain strong team connections and support daily operations
- Readiness to travel to other Amazon sites for training and development as necessary
- Collaborate with Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians to grasp daily operational challenges
- Lead small to medium-sized teams of multi-skilled Technicians, gaining direct line management experience
We are considering candidates for roles in the following locations:
- Recent graduate or pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial, Mechatronics, or Chemical Engineering
- Maximum of 2 years' experience in a relevant industry
- Proficiency in English and German languages (written & verbal) at CEFR Level B2 or higher
- Familiarity with relevant health & safety standards and regulations
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Computer-aided Design
- Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems
- Understanding of Project Management frameworks
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs
- Knowledge of Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Processes
- Background in Automated Warehousing environments
- Previous experience in team leadership
