Zur Gestaltung der Mobilität von morgen forscht das Autonomous Vehicle Lab an relevanten Themen im Bereich des Autonomen Fahrens. Da autonome Fahrzeuge auch in ferner Zukunft noch nicht die Komplexität jeglicher Verkehrssituationen beherrschen werden, wird Teleoperation bzw. -assistenz ein Grundpfeiler im Kontext autonomer Mobilität sein.
Dabei treten Situationen auf, in denen ein hoheitlicher Eingriff in alle Fahrzeuge eines Verkehrsabschnitts notwendig ist. Um in mit diesen komplexen Verkehrssystemen interagieren zu können, ist neben lokalen Leitwarten eine übergeordnete Leitzentrale notwendig. Diese Leitzentrale übernimmt die Koordination aller den Leitwarten unterstehenden autonomen Fahrzeuge mit Hinsicht auf übergeordnete Szenarien wie das Bilden einer Rettungsgasse oder Evakuierungen in Katastrophenfällen. Ziel ist es, eine reibungslose Kommunikation zwischen der Leitzentrale und den automatisierten Fahrzeugen sicherzustellen. Gewonnene Forschungsergebnisse publizieren wir nicht nur auf zahlreichen Konferenzen und in Journals, sondern stellen unsere Software auch Open Source über das TUM GitHub Repository zur Verfügung, um den Stand der Wissenschaft stetig zu erweitern.
**Deine Aufgaben**:
Im Rahmen eines öffentlichen Forschungsprojekts mit starker innerdeutscher Vernetzung arbeitest Du im Team AV Safe Operation am Lehrstuhl für Fahrzeugtechnik an der Entwicklung, Umsetzung und Validierung einer Leitzentrale als übergeordnete Einheit eines Leitwartenverbunds. Du beschäftigst dich unter anderem mit der Definition des Datenaustauschs, dem Entwurf der Datenstrukturen sowie dem Aufbau einer prototypischen Leitzentrale. Zudem soll untersucht werden, wie mithilfe von KI der Betrieb vernetzter autonomer Fahrzeuge durch ortsgebundene Informationen sicherer gestaltet werden kann. Über das Industrieprojekt hinaus bist Du an der lehrstuhlinternen und hardwarenahen Entwicklung und Evaluation von Steuerungskonzepten, Visualisierungskonzepten und Sicherheitsfunktionen für das Teleoperierte Fahren beteiligt.
Ziel ist es dabei, Deine gewonnen Erkenntnisse in das Gesamtsystem der Teleoperation zu integrieren und in einer Demonstration umzusetzen. Neben Deiner fachlichen Arbeit nimmst Du die Möglichkeiten zur überfachlichen Weiterbildung wahr und übernimmst die Verantwortung für Lehr
- und Nebenaufgaben.
**Dein Profil**:
Du begeisterst Dich für neuartige Mobilitätskonzepte und interessierst Dich unter anderem für die Themen: Teleassistenz, Datenaustausch und vernetzte Systeme, Perzeption, Umfelderfassung und Funktionale Sicherheit. Du arbeitest gerne in einem interdisziplinären Team, um komplexe Fragestellungen zu lösen. Im Studium hast Du bereits Erfahrungen mit Automatisierten Fahrzeugen gesammelt. Idealerweise besitzt Du bereits umfassende Programmierkenntnisse.
Zusammengefasst bringst Du mit:
- Herausragende Leistungen im Studium und/oder außeruniversitärem Engagement
- Erfahrungen im Studiendesign und mit Probandstudien
- Kenntnisse in Objektorientierter Programmierung (C++ oder Python von Vorteil)
- Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Fahrzeugtechnik
- Strukturierte und selbstständige Arbeitsweise
- Verhandlungssicherheit in Wort und Schrift in Deutsch und Englisch
- Abgeschlossenes Universitätsstudium in einer der Fachrichtungen Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, Robotik, Elektrotechnik oder Informatik oder ähnlich mit sehr gutem Erfolg (besser als 2,0)
