ALPADIA consists of 4 schools offering French, German for adults and 14 centers for children and teenagers (13 to 17 years old) where French, German, Italian and English courses are organized.

In our schools for adults, we offer standard courses in international groups with a maximum of 14 participants, private lessons, writing and conversation training, as well as exam preparation courses for telc.

Since 2019, ALPADIA is part of Kaplan International Languages, one of the world's most dedicated providers of language study abroad and other programs abroad.


Our innovative Academic & Career Pathways program is designed for international students and skilled workers who are interested in studying/working in Germany.

The program supports international students and professionals with intensive support and coaching with regards to optimising the study/work options in Germany, tackling the bureaucratic processes and the development of language skills necessary for entering the university or the job market in Germany.

Job Description:


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a student job (Werkstudent) in the capacity of a customer care assistant in the Pathways department in Berlin, Germany.


Working in close collaboration with the Pathways team, you will assist with the effective operation of Customer Care for our pathways applicants and students, in close partnership with internal departments including Student Support, Academic, Sales, Finance, and Operations.


Your main tasks will be:

  • Assisting the Pathways team with customer care matters
  • Creating new bookings in our CRM and distributing invoices and prearrival documents
  • Providing support with modifications, prolongations, and cancelations of contracts in collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Supporting pathways team with daytoday tasks during high season or during high workload

Qualifications:

  • Registered student at a German university
  • Previous customerfacing experience through an internship, study/work abroad, or volunteering activities
- (ideally) Experience in the higher education admissions process and/or customer service

  • Willing to help others with a calm demeanor
  • Sense of duty and commitment and service Orientation
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, diligence
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Very good command of English and German, both written and spoken
