Bookkeeper:

  • Req ID: Location: Hamburg, DESapiens Germany is urgently looking for a Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Hamburg. If you have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, have completed relevant commercial training or a degree, and have a very good knowledge of German accounting regulations, we would be very happy to hear from you.

Tasks:

  • Accounts receivable accounting (customer communication, invoice dispatch, invoice posting, receivables management incl. dunning)
  • Accounts payable (subcontractors, suppliers, employees)
  • Asset accounting (maintenance of fixed assets, additions, disposals, depreciation)
  • Expenses and travel expenses incl. taxes
  • Bank and payment transactions (payment runs, Paypal, credit card billing)
  • Preparatory monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
  • Master data management
  • General administrative activities in the context of accounting (filing, communication, documentation)

Knowledge:

  • Completed relevant commercial training or studies with a corresponding focus and relevant professional experience (at least 2 years)
  • Very good knowledge of accounting software, ideally SAP Business One
  • Very good knowledge and affinity for Microsoft Office, especially Excel and MS Teams
  • Good English skills for communication within the group
  • Positive mindset and willingness to help shape change processes
