Duties:
- Provides Marketing Functional services under the general supervision of the Installation, DMWR, Marketing Manager.
- Duties include determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation, and community awareness of all DMWR programs.
- Conducts Media relations, commercial sponsorship and overall planning of special events.
- Serves as representative to community and briefs media on programs and activities and their impact on civilian community.
- Serves as the primary planner and action officer for a variety of recurring and special events, and activities that take place at the installation.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all preemployment checks in accordance with AR 2153, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Work experience must have been equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. IAW AR 2153, paragraph 21, (1), (2), (3) and Appendix B.
- WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is performed in a typical office setting.
Best Qualified Criteria:
- Possess two (2) years of experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) marketing office, a DoD public affairs office or a similar private sector activity, with the ability to develop marketing strategies, sales campaigns, and plan and manage large special event marketing campaigns.
- Possess one (1) year of experience managing various forms of social media (Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram) to engage customers.
Education:
Official College or university transcript(s)(copy or original) must be submitted with your resume to determine qualifications for positions with positive education requirements.

- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
- This is a paybanded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
_If authorized, only regular (fulltime, parttime, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._ When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of nonovertime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Foreign Overseas Allowances
- Post allowance and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. These allowances may include Living Quarters Allowance (LQA), Post Allowance, Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA) and requires a Transportation Agreement IAW the provisions of the JTR.
