This position reports to

Field Service Manager PAMA

Your role and responsibilities

Commissioning of analysis, measuring and control devices as well as process engineering systems
Installing hardware and software, carrying out parameterization and functional tests and creating the necessary documentation
Creating customer-specific maintenance and system check plans, including coordinating the corresponding maintenance work and carrying it out at customer's site
Preliminary clarification of technical and scheduling aspects with the specialist department and the customer
In preparation for the service call, you record the customer's fault reports and take the required spare parts from the warehouse
Analyzing the cause of the fault at customer's site, replacing defective parts and rectifying the fault
Developing proposals to increase system availability and conducting the final meeting with the customer
In order to meet customer requirements for a 365/24 service, you will be available for on-call duty by arrangement

Qualifications for the role
  • Successfully completed training as a qualified electrician (EFK) or responsible electrician (VEFK). Alternatively, a degree in electrical engineering or comparable training as a technician / master craftsman
  • Experience as a service technician, ideally in environmental measurement technology
  • Willingness to travel in Germany, also abroad if desired
  • Fluency in German, basic knowledge of English
  • Strong affinity for service as well as a high degree of initiative and independence
