As an IT Support Engineer, you'll work behind the scenes to fix issues and enhance systems to ensure optimal operation of our global business. Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Support end-user devices and IT infrastructure in your building
  • Assist with critical network projects, such as IT setups for new Amazon buildings
  • Propose new processes to enhance IT deployment at Amazon logistics centers
  • Train and mentor IT professionals

A Day in the Life:

Experience a diverse workday as an IT Support Engineer at Amazon. You'll work both on-site and remotely, collaborating with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and ensure the optimal functioning of our platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure through maintenance projects and ensuring seamless operations at new facilities.

About the Team:

The Ops Tech Solutions Team (OTS Teams) at Amazon provides ongoing tech support to all Amazon operational sites worldwide. Our team members work tirelessly to maintain, upgrade, and safeguard the IT infrastructure and end-user devices of one of the world's largest companies, encompassing a range of skills from engineering to leadership roles.

Our dedicated OTS team ensures performance and sustainability in all new solutions. With team members working at local sites around the clock, we aim to provide support and conduct essential maintenance activities with minimal disruption to business operations.


Basic Qualifications:
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Experience in administering heterogeneous networks with Microsoft Windows and Linux-based clients and servers
  • Experience with network infrastructure, system integration, and working with third parties
  • Proficiency in English and German (B1+ level) both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional industry certifications such as ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, or Linux
  • Experience in diagnostics, problems solving, and customer-oriented environments
  • Familiarity with common network and internet protocols and IT asset management
  • Valid driver's license
