As a Team Leader – Inside Sales (BDR/SDR) and CEC you are responsible for leading and coaching a team of BDRs, SDRs and Customer Engagement Centre reps. for Pagero's Region Central Europe.


You will become part of an exciting journey to contribute to Pagero ́s worldwide expansion by addressing present and future demand for B2B transaction automation (AR/AP and P2P/OTC) and eInvoicing compliance. The perfect candidate for this role is passionate about the opportunity of growing a business by coaching a small team of BDR/SDR while also acting as a BDR yourself in a fast-paced, global environment.


The Region for the role is Central Europe – with primary focus on Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of Inside Sales reps (BDR&SDR) and Customer Engagement Centre (CEC) Sales reps
  • Player-Coach approach – in addition to leading and coaching the team, you will also act as a BDR yourself
  • Motivating BDR, SDR and CEC reps to exceed goals through coaching and support
  • Supporting the team to achieve the department's sales targets, personal & team KPIs and lead-generation goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Responsible for ensuring that each team member is effective with their time, conducting follow ups and associated tasks
  • In your BDR role and responsible for outbound lead prospecting, you will identify business opportunities by finding prospects in our regional market.
  • Performing operational tasks such as holiday approvals, softphone application tickets, etc. monitoring of contact queues
  • Ensuring successful delivery of Supplier Onboarding projects from a CEC point of view
  • Working closely together with the Campaign Coordinator to ensure successful Supplier Onboarding projects for our customers also on an international level
  • Assisting with recruitment, hiring and training of new CEC team members
  • Identifying training needs and provide strategies around training
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining best practices, pitches, and objection handling
  • Educating inside sales staff on effectively answering common customer questions
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to current sales practices and procedures as needed
  • Monitoring performance and encourage personal growth via 1:1 sessions, pipeline reviews, etc.
  • Collaborate with Pagero's Regional Direct Sales team and Regional Marketing
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies

Who You Are

You are a sales minded, driven, ambitious and self-starting person with a proven track record working in a Global Enterprise Software Sales company – and have a passion for exciting your team members to exceed their annual targets. Ideally worked, in the areas of Financial Services, EDI and B2B Networks, e-invoicing, P2P/O2C Automation and/or similar.

  • You must have >5 years of quota carrying experience in Enterprise Software Sales as BDR or Sales Rep
  • You approach your work in a structured manner, with autonomy and creativity. You understand the full picture, as well as dive deep into the details
  • You have experience in coaching, developing and managing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • You are passionate about the opportunity of growing a business and working in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • You have a Hunter mentality
  • You are familiar with B2B networks and have an understanding of today's eInvoicing / CTC compliance requirements in Europe and globally.
