Satair:

- an Airbus Services Company (100% subsidiary of Airbus) - is looking for the
Head of Pricing (d/f/m) located in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel to lead our team and join the Product Management team at the earliest possible start date.

Reporting to the Head of Airbus Product Management you will be working with our colleagues worldwide.

In the pricing department, we set the sales prices towards customers for all Airbus spares including A220 - no matter the size and complexity of the product.


The team ensures the right price positioning in the market driving the profitability and supporting the growth of the product lines.

The highest price availability possible ensures that customers do not need to wait to make a decision to buy. In case prices are missing, the dedicated pricing operations team takes care of a speedy response.

To do all that, we need to work in collaboration with the whole organization - and hand in hand with the product lines and procurement.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the pricing team: 7 direct reports focused on pricing strategies and a dedicated team of 12 for pricing operations
  • Driving the pricing transformation: go digital and revisit our strategies going to the market
  • Defining the Yearly Price Escalation that serves as a reference point for the whole customer service and publish the yearly sales pricing catalog to all our customers

Your boarding pass
Equipped with a
Degree in Aeronautical or Business Administration (or similar) paired with professional experience ideally in
product management, procurement or finance and leading a team, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

  • Leadership skills and ability to coordinate and influence a group of various stakeholders and to interface with management
  • Communication skills, collaborative spirit, curiosity and proactivity
  • An analytical mindset
  • Ability to work in international and crossfunctional teams
  • Openness for new ways of working and agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
  • A background in pricing, procurement, product management or pricing would be a plus
  • Negotiation level in English and German, other language skills would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel as this role will involve some travel for business (approx. once a month)
