Intern (d/f/m) in Visualization of Aircraft/Mission Simulation

Location:
Manching

as soon as possible

Duration: 3-6 months

We are looking for a creative intern who is willing to create a visualization of our simulation. The generated tool should be able to visualize the flight trajectories and the environment of the aircraft in 3D. Also, the state of the simulation and the underlying communication between entities in the simulation should be represented.

This will include working with our existing simulation environment and the replacement of visualization tools in the current working chain.

You will be working closely within our motivated team on the development of solutions for Cross-Platform Mission Systems.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Familiarization with inhouse and external 3D visualization tools.
  • Familiarization with the development environment and interface to the simulation.
  • Implementation of the 3D visualization.
  • Generation of a sound representation of simulation state and aircraft mission
Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled fulltime student in computer science, mathematics, aeronautical engineering or similar field of study
  • Good knowledge of C++ and Python
  • Knowledge of Linux, GIT/SVN
  • Motivation for agile SW development processes and methods
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Good team player
