Your Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities and coordinating transformation processes, e.g., network reserve power plants, H2/gas power plants
- Switching fuel from coal to gas and ensuring the possibility of later conversion to hydrogen
- Managing and coordinating commercial matters for network reserve power plants with a special focus on fuel
- Negotiating asset-based contracts with stakeholders, e.g., TSOs and Federal Network Agency
- Ensuring optimized processes with internal (e.g., Controlling, Asset Management) and external stakeholders
- Developing and optimizing fuel supply within the existing regulatory framework
- Identifying and evaluating contract-related risks and opportunities
- Handling ad-hoc issues in the energy industry and commercial network management
Your Profile
- Completed studies in engineering and/or economics
- At least three years of experience in the energy sector
- High interest in energy economics, (coal) power plants, and expertise in energy raw materials (e.g., coal, gas, oil)
- Experience in commercial network management and regulation is welcome
- Strong customer orientation and networking skills with commercial thinking and a high level of initiative
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly and concisely
- Highly collaborative attitude, ability to seamlessly work with other functions
- German and English proficiency at a professional level as a requirement
