Die Deutsche Bank (DB) kann auf eine sehr erfahrene und engagierte Abteilung für die Bekämpfung von Finanzkriminalität (Anti Financial Crime, AFC) zurückgreifen. Diese spielt eine entscheidende Rolle dabei, der Finanzkriminalität bei Geschäftsaktivitäten und globalen Finanzdienstleistungen der DB vorzubeugen und gleichzeitig die Interessen der Bank und der Gesellschaft zu wahren.

Um Finanzkriminalität wirksam zu bekämpfen und flexibel auf Herausforderungen zu reagieren, hat AFC eine Matrixstruktur, die regionale, geschäftsbereichsbezogene und globale Funktionen vereint. Sie teilt sich in die folgenden Kernbereiche auf: Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, Investigations & Intelligence, Monitoring & Screening und Risk Assessment. Teambeschreibung und Rollendetails

Anti-Financial Crime

Das Management von Risiken im Zusammenhang mit Finanzkriminalität und die Implementierung gültiger und wirksamer Kontrollen, Prozesse und Sicherheitsmaßnahmen haben für die Deutsche Bank höchste Priorität. AFC Monitoring & Screening Global Plattform (GP) ist verantwortlich für die Implementierung der strategischen Transaktionsüberwachungsplattform und die Weiterentwicklung der bestehenden Transaktionsüberwachungs- und Namenslisten-Screening-Systeme. Daten sind die Grundlage für umfassende Kontrollen und ein Schlüsselbereich für die Identifizierung von Risiken im Zusammenhang mit Finanzkriminalität.

Ihre Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

Innerhalb von AFCs GP konzentriert sich die "Intelligence Layer" Funktion auf die Anwendung erweiterter Analyse Funktionen mit Bezug auf die verwendeten Daten. In dieser Funktion analysieren Sie Daten, und entwickeln daraus Erkenntnisse und Empfehlungen. Sie arbeiten eng mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zusammen, um Geschäftsanforderungen mit analytischem Fachwissen zu unterstützen. Sie arbeiten mit weiteren Analysten, Dateningenieuren und Wissenschaftlern zusammen, um qualitativ hochwertige Ergebnisse durch die Anwendung fortschrittlicher Analysemethoden auf unsere Daten zu ermöglichen.

Für diese Rolle verfügen Sie über fundierte Erfahrungen in den Bereichen:
  • Analyse und Zusammensetzung von Daten aus verschiedenen Quellen, um Trends und Muster zu identifizieren
  • Umsetzung von Geschäftsanforderungen und Risikodefinitionen in anwendbare Analyseaktivitäten und Entwicklung von Erkenntnissen und Empfehlungen zur Unterstützung von Anforderungen im Bereich Anti-Financial Crime
  • Transformation von Daten in verwendbare Formate und standardisierte Protokolle
  • Fähigkeit, ein ganzheitliches Verständnis der bestehenden Daten und Datenquellen der Bank aufzubauen
  • Entwicklung von Modellen und Datenvisualisierung
  • der Zusammenarbeit mit Architekten, Infrastrukturexperten und Dateningenieuren in einem internationalen Umfeld für die Datenanalyse
Ihre Kompetenzen und Erfahrungen
  • Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Mathematik, Physik oder vergleichbare Qualifikationen und Erfahrungen
  • Erfahrung mit Datenverarbeitungs- und Integrationspipelines in einem Big Data/ETL-Kontext unter Verwendung von GCP, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Shell-Scripting, Testframeworks oder anderen Komponenten aus dem Ökosystem
  • Sie haben mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Entwicklung mit Python, oder ähnlichen Programmiersprachen mit Fokus auf Big Data und ein fundiertes Verständnis für Data Analytics und statistische Methoden
  • Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Finanzkriminalität und Banken
  • Sie sind ein Teamplayer und verfügen über eine hohe persönliche Integrität mit sehr guten Englischkenntnissen in Wort und Schrift, Deutsch wünschenswert

Team- and Role description

Anti-Financial Crime

The management of financial crime related risks and the implementation of valid and effective controls, processes and security measures has highest priority for Deutsche Bank. AFC Monitoring & Screening Global Platform (GP) is responsible for the implementation of the strategic Transaction Monitoring platform and the further development of the existing Transaction Monitoring and Name List Screening systems. Data is the basis for comprehensive controls and a key area for the identification of financial crime related risk.

Your main responsibilities

Within AFCs GP the "Intelligence Layer" has a focus on the application of advanced analytics to the consumed data. As Data Analyst you will be analyzing data and developing insights and recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business requirements with analytical expertise. Collaboration with analysts, data engineers and scientists to enable quality results from the application of advanced analytics methods to our data.

For this role you should have profound experience in the areas of:
  • collection and analysis of data from various sources to identify trends and patterns
  • translation of business requirements and risk definitions into actionable analytics activities and developing insights and recommendations to drive business requirements
  • organizing data into usable formats and standardized protocols
  • ability to build a broad understanding of the bank's existing data, and data sources
  • development of models and data visualization
  • cooperation with architects, infrastructure experts and data engineers on an international framework for data analysis and enrichment
Your competencies and experience
  • You have a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable qualifications and experience
  • Experience with data processing and integration pipelines in a big data/ETL context, using Hadoop, Apache Spark, GCP, shell scripting, test frameworks, or other components from the ecosystem
  • You have at least 3 years of working experience in Python, or similar programming languages with a focus on big data and a sound understanding for data analytics and statistical methods
  • Experience in the areas of financial crime and banking
  • You are a team player and have as well a high level of personal integrity with excellent oral and written English skills, German desirable
