Job Description:

Turner & Townsend is looking for experienced Project Directors to lead major projects and programmes within the Europe region. We have a number of exciting projects across a variety of locations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing large scale complex projects and programmes, leading the project team and stakeholder relationships.
  • Providing strategic plans for key client and programmes.
  • Providing key technical and commercial advice to clients across major projects;
  • Ensuring the project stays on time and within budget
  • Embracing and working in a digital project management environment
  • Full compliance with all policies, legislation, regulations and procedures
  • Reporting regularly to key stakeholders including internal teams, appointed technical partners and the client
  • Acting as a role model that drives a One Business culture.
  • Managing key client accounts and winning new business through organic growth and referral opportunities
  • Have a detailed understanding of the market and act as a brand ambassador, creating a pipeline of opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in relevant discipline such as Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Experience leading major projects and programmes (in excess of 200m Eur), from tender to completion.
  • Exemplary leadership and stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
  • Ability to influence, advise and recommend a course of action to management and executives within client or partner organisations.
  • Results oriented with high work ethic, stringent quality standards and a commitment to action.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in building assets. Experience with industrial & manufacturing, data centre, power generation or any other major construction projects is essential.
  • Experience working in a digital project management environment.
  • Experience with various contract types and procurement paths.
  • Excellent health & safety record.
  • Fluency in English language is essential. Ability to work in other European languages would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to be mobilised across Europe, either for the duration of a project or on a FIFO basis.
