BUSINESS TRAVEL CLUB

The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC) is the Business Unit managing and developing the HRS E-Commerce platforms of the well-known hotel portal businesses of HRS.de and HOTEL.DE that gradually transform into much more than “just” a platform. BTC provides its members, individual business travelers and SMEs, with a distinct range of exclusive services, which shape tomorrow´s upgraded travel experience. The goal of BTC is to deliver growth as well as sustainable profitability over time by enhancing customer loyalty between the brand and its customers, enabling the Brands Repositioning in the marketplace and unlocking additional potentials via optimized supplier management. Thus, BTC and its products, plays an important role in HRS´s DACH strategy as it revolves around a disruption of the interplay between hotel and workplace supply and e-commerce and a domination of the Business Travel DACH market. Your mission is to further develop and shape the "The HRS Business Travel Club" and its solutions and make it the next innovation of the HRS Group together with a great team.

POSITION

As the Lead Technical SEO Manager for the HRS Group's E-Commerce business unit, you will lead our efforts to maximise our online visibility and drive organic traffic growth. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies that enhance the performance of our booking funnels in search engine results pages. Your expertise in technical SEO will ensure the architecture, content, and user experience for our booking funnels are optimized for both search engines and our customers.

CHALLENGE
  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement corrective actions to address issues related to website architecture, crawlability, indexation, mobile optimization, site speed, structured data, and more.
  • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for growth. Develop and execute a robust keyword strategy that aligns with our business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and optimization processes. Monitor and analyze content performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and manage a link-building strategy that improves domain authority and promotes organic growth. Identify opportunities for partnership and content collaboration to enhance our backlink profile.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Search Console) to track, report, and analyze website performance and SEO effectiveness. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including web development, content, UX/UI, marketing, and product management, to implement SEO strategies and projects.
  • Stay on top of the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and industry best practices. Proactively adjust strategies to leverage new opportunities and mitigate potential impacts on visibility and traffic.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and SEO best practices
  • Proficient in SEO tools (e.g., Audisto) and web analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Google Search Console)
  • Experience with website optimization tools and techniques, including mobile optimization, page speed enhancements, and schema markup
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working effectively across different departments and levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of achieving measurable SEO success and growth
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
