Who we are looking for

You are currently studying and want to gain experience in risk management? Join the risk management function at State Street, one of the worldâs leading financial institutions, as a working student.

Are you interested in developing your analytical skills for risks related to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)? Are you interested in the banking sector's approach to sustainability?
Then our ESG Risk Team in Munich is looking for you as their new team member.

What you will be responsible for

Depending on your skills and preferences, in the ESG team you will

  • Get a broad understanding of risk management, climate-related & environmental risk as well as social & governance risk
  • Face a wide range of different tasks, especially data analysis, process improvements, preparing senior management materials, ESG-risk assessments, up to quantification of ESG risks
  • Stay up-to-date with regulations and industry best practices
  • Assist with ad-hoc and business-as-usual tasks

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • You are studying (last semester of Bachelor, or beginning of Master) economics, mathematics, statistics, business administration, risk management and/or your studies are related to ESG or Sustainability
  • You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters
  • You have strong interests in banking or risk management and ideally first experiences from internships
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English and German
