Are you passionate about driving, coordinating and supporting a team of Marel Software specialists who provide excellent support to food producers within the Western European Region? The Manager Software Service, working alongside the Regional Director Software will take responsibility for the development of their team, focusing on both technical and soft skill development, whilst working towards regional and global initiatives and demands.

You will also have a keen commercial eye, working alongside sales colleagues to help define and deliver solutions to major food producers, being able to discuss and present value both internally and externally with credibility. This will entail being a trusted advocate for the customer, making sure the customer receives the best possible software experience from Marel whilst also maintaining internal stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.

As part of your daily responsibility, you will:

  • Be a team leader and a coach for team members
  • Analyze performance, and identify improvements
  • Manage employee training and development
  • Conducts performance interviews and appraisals with all team members. Set goals and monitor progress
  • Determine schedules, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority and resource availability
  • Planning, prioritization and scheduling of team members in cooperation with the Regional Software ser-vice manager and local planners
  • Scope and price approval for projects and service quotations, including service contracts and installations
  • Participate in sales meeting to provide support for upcoming opportunities when needed.
  • Be the bridge between sales and delivery
  • Deliver KPIâs on both performance and financial elements of the business
  • Manage delivery of Marel Software
  • Support Customer care management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers by regularly attend meetings and support customer care activities
  • Act upon customer feedback

In order to be successful in this position, we expect you will a Bachelorâs degree or experience equivalent to a four year degree and a minimum of five yearsâ experience as a manager in an international, innovative and technical environment preferably with services experience

Moreover, you bring with you:

  • Demonstrated ability in building and managing diverse teams
  • Ability to execute business improvements to achieve high customer satisfaction
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate this into team effort                   
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of Marel Software products and processes, or experience in similar technologies/industries â food industry experience is advantageous but not a requirement
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, co-workers and other key stakeholders
  • Strong English skills, both written and verbal
